About Rhoda

While I was teaching at my elementary school in Scottsdale the school offered me a tutoring job. This took place during 0hr. which was the hour prior to the bell time. Children Kindergarten thru 5th grade came in to work on their studies before going to class. I sat in the middle of the computer lab and children came up to me one at a time to ask questions regarding, math, English, reading, and science. I assisted students every Tuesday that year. I worked with preschool special education kiddos for 18 years and those who were in kindergarten/first grade with special needs for 2 years. I am familiar with various special education strategies that I incorporated into my classrooms. I used sign language and Spanish on a primary level. I worked with speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, music therapists, and dog therapists over my career.
