About Rhiana

I've been a caregiver since 2013. For 2 years I worked in a nursing home where I worked mainly with dementia residents. That's where I really decided that this is what I wanted to do. I learned a lot at the facility and how to be a good caregiver. As cliche as it sounds it's not just a job. Working with people for a living involves compassion and patience. You have to be understanding and adaptable because everyone needs different kinds of care because everyone is completely different. Afterwards I worked at the hospital for 7 years and learned a lot there as well. I worked in float pool so I was educated in all types of care. I worked day shift for the first 4 years and night shift for the last 3. I'm now doing home health for a more personal level of care because I do love making a family type of connection with my patients.
