My passion for animals dates back to the beginning of my life, growing up with animals in the home. I have had many pets and on my own, including medium and large sized dogs, cats, birds, fresh and salt water aquariums, Guinea Pigs and Gerbils. I have also taken care of some small reptiles. After earning my certification as a Patient Care Technician, I began taking care of pets while I was an In Home Care Companion. First, for a patient who was terminally ill and also caring for their precious dog, a Havenese named Bailey. After my patient passed away, I stayed friends with the family and continue to walk, feed, brush, bathe, clean his ears and trim his hair around his eyes as needed between grooming. I also continue to take him out in my car to the Vet, beach, boardwalk, parks, etc. I have a safety system in the back seat that clips to a harness or carrier. Patricia was wonderful with my two dogs for the week of the 4th of July vacation! Contacted her last minute when my sitter fell through and she was compassionate, helpful & attentive. Took the dogs in and communicated with me through the week including providing pictures and details of their eating, sleeping, walking & playing habits. She took great care of them and made a very stressful situation less so!! I highly recommend her and would use her again!
