Hi, I'm 53 & have lived in the area my entire life. I currently live in Kempsville . I have 2 adult children. I hold a bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary studies/Early Childhood Ed teaching 0-grade 4. I was an elem. teacher in Norfolk for 20 yrs. I have been a nanny for the past few years; ranging in ages from 3 months-3 yrs. I have always loved children. I am known as the baby hog in my circle. I love reading to children. I believe it's important for children to have a healthy balance of structured adult interaction (with reading, toys, singing songs, tummy time, using their senses to explore, etc...) paired w independent play time. Children learn so much while playing. I'll help your child reach their developmental milestones! I believe keeping children on a routine schedule is important in their development. I have a great driving record. Nonsmoker & pet friendly. I am neat & tidy by nature. I'm up to date on all vax, & CPR & First Aid certified. References upon request.
