Renee did an good job most of the time. She was sweet and often worked hard. She came through for us in the beginning, which we appreciated. Some issues we saw as time went on were, first, we feel she seemed to push outings that she was interested in more than activities the elder person was interested in. Also, we feel she did not always maintain a professional level of communication, as she just stopped returning our text messages and effectively disappeared on us. We also feel like she discussed personal things and questioned our personal choices that were not her business to discuss or question. We didn't want to have to explain or justify our choice in TV programming, politics, or any other personal choices that were not relevant to her caregiving. Finally, she seemed to get on the elder client's nerves a bit, which isn't necessarily her fault, but we feel someone who works with elder dementia patients needs to understand how to work with them without being aggravating. Again, we appreciate her hard work and we were fortunate to have her services when we needed them, but we think she would probably be a better fit for another household. We wish her happiness and the best of luck moving forward, wherever she is.
