About Renae

I am an elementary school teacher with over 20 years of experience in the classroom (grades K-3rd). Before becoming a teacher I worked as a nanny for a wonderful family for 6 years. Next year I will be transitioning to teaching part time and plan to find a regular childcare position or occasional childcare jobs on weekends, including overnight stays if needed. I am currently available for throughout the week as well as weekends. I have a lot of experience working with infants, as well as toddlers, and children ages 5-10. I have a passion for nurturing young minds and enjoy engaging children with fun games, creative projects and educational activities . Over the years I have supported children with special needs and children with very delicate personalities. I'm known for creating a warm positive environment where children feel secure, valued, and loved. I am comfortable taking care of pets and doing light housework when the children are asleep.
