About Reina

Hola! I'm a Spanish tutor with more than 15 years of experience offering private Spanish lessons to children of ages 3-8 years old. In addition, I've also worked as a nanny for many wonderful families around the Bay Area. I'm creative, self motivated, reliable and organized. Whether I'm working as a tutor or helping a family as a nanny, I strive to provide an excellent experience to the children I'm working with. I work hard to keep children busy and engaged in fun and enriching activities, such as art and crafts, nature walks, cooking, reading, drawing and more. As a nanny, my goal is to be as much help as I possibly can to the parents. I'm happy to help with driving, keeping playroom and children's rooms clean and organized, helping with meals preparation, homework, etc. I'm looking for a part time nanny position to fill out my schedule. I'm looking forward to finding the right family to partner with! I have excellent recommendations.

Reina worked with our family for two years. She took care of our son from when he was eight months old to 2.5 years. Reina was more than a nanny to us - she was, and still is, part of our family. Reina went above and beyond to be attentive to our son's needs, physical, emotional and developmental. She was proactive at planning age-appropriate activities (from music to painting to finding and naming flowers and trees), helped us through potty training and difficult sleeping/napping regressions. Reina has a true vocation for children and teaching, and she encouraged learning and curiosity in everything she did with our son. We were first time parents and we really benefited from Reina's years of experience. We learned so much from her. Despite her ample experience, Reina was very tactile and respectful of our parenting style and our needs as a family; she made sure we were truly one team. We were always aligned on discipline style, on the way we treated and talked to our son. She is great with gentle discipline. Our son truly loves Reina, and so do we. I wish we could continue working with Reina, but our son is off to preschool. Any family will be extremely lucky to work with Reina.
