From 2005 to 2011, Celia was the fulltime nanny to my two children. When she started with us, my daughter was six months old, and our son was about 2 ½ years old. Celia became an indispensable part of our household during those busy years. Celia was always punctual, dependable, and thoughtful. Celia was invaluable in helping our children develop age-appropriate skills such as toilet training, bathing and dressing themselves, and tidying up. She helped ensure that our children developed good manners and social skills. Celia is friendly and warm so that parents, other nannies, and children all gravitated towards her. Our children had no shortage of playdates and other social activities in their preschool years. Celia is also a strong proponent of physical and outdoor activity, so she made sure that our kids played in parks and playgrounds, rather than resorting to screentime. And as they became older, Celia was adept at managing an active calendar of school, recreational classes, and social events. While she took care of our children, many friends, neighbors, and acquaintances—without any prompting—told us how wonderful Celia is with our children. Most importantly, our children adored Celia, and they continue to adore her. Celia is very much still in our lives, which is a testament to the genuine bonds that we formed. Celia will be an asset to any family.
