I am a mom to 2 adult children (28 &19)and a grandchild due in Aug of 2026. I started babysitting when I was very young and in my teens I worked at a daycare center. As an adult I became an LPN through a technical school, so I am not college educated. My nursing career was primarily as a Family Practice Office Nurse and Pediatric Office Nurse. I do suffer a chronic illness that robbed me from my full time career. My last 2yrs of nursing were as a daycare/preschool nurse. I love working with children and babies so I decided to start babysitting to get me out of the house. Several years ago I helped with twin girls for a few months before they moved away. Then I began babysitting a 1 &2 yr old and sometimes their school aged sister(summer). I provide approximately 3-4hrs at a time for 1-3 children at a time. Im excited to bec becoming a grandma but my son lives almost 9hrs away, so I won't be able to see my grandchild often. Im looking to provide some half day relief to busy parents.
