I am an experienced caregiver with over 10 years of experience. I feel that it is truly rewarding working one on one with individuals. I can assist with bathing and showering, personal grooming, assisting with medications, preparing meals transportation, assistance to doctors appointments, planning activities program, encouraging and doing exercise and preparing meals. I am a confident positive outgoing individual with a happy bubbly personality that uses tact and discretion when required while encouraging individuals to do what they can for themselves with gentle assistance so that they feel empowered. Nothing gives me greater joy seeing our seniors smiling and happy with a sense of fulfillment. Day trips to museums , parks, restaurants, picnics, sports games , senior centers are all in a days work as is sitting quietly, reading, reciting poetry , playing cards or sitting in silence giving comfort are all part of what I do ! .
