Hello! My name is Rebekah and I am a second-year NJ certified Special Education Teacher and reading tutor. I am currently a first grade teacher yet have tutored students ranging from age 6 to 24 years old. I have extensive knowledge in the areas of phonics, reading, and writing as I am currently completing Orton-Gillingham Training through Fairleigh Dickinson University. I have completed semester 1 and am anticipated to complete semester 2 of the program before my start date. In addition, I am an avid cursive user and have taught several of my tutoring clients the foundations of cursive handwriting. My goal is to collaborate with parents and scholars to expand their subject knowledge and share my passion for learning. I hope to hear from you soon!
