About Rebecca

I am Rebecca, a PhD candidate and certified doula based in Durham, NC. I have worked with children ages 4 through high school in tutoring, dance teacher, and volunteer capacities for the past 10 years. I recently completed my full-spectrum doula certification through Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings and now serve as a postpartum doula. I am seeking primarily shorter-term (anywhere from one-time to a few months) positions up to 30 hours per week. I research and am particularly passionate about caring for LGBTQ+ families and supporting them through parenthood. My rates are lower to reflect my lower amount of paid experience with infants, but I am a quick learner and bring dedication, responsibility, and attentiveness to every role.
