About Rebecca

Hello! I would love to help tutor your child over the summer or evenings during the school year to give them extra support where they may need it. I have been a teacher for seven years, with five being in Kindergarten and two years in 2nd grade! I have experience tutoring students ranging from 4 -years-old up to 7th grade. Some of my strengths include building rapport with kids, differentiating instruction to meet individual kids' learning needs and styles, and teaching English Learners. I received my B. A. in Elementary Education, with minors in Reading and German, and a Kindergarten Endorsement. While in college, I worked part-time with the children's ministry at my church, babysat, and completed practicums and student teaching in schools. I also completed my Masters in Education with an emphasis in English Learners. In my free time I love to travel, go on walks/hikes with my Mini Aussie, play games, watch movies, and spend time outdoors!
