About Rebecca

I grew up with a lot of different animals. I have raised and cared for dogs, cats, goats, chickens, geese, and for a brief period, turkeys. My greatest love, however, is for dogs and cats. I had a beloved dog with a seizure disorder, and even as a child, had to monitor her behavior and give appropriate medication. I nurtured a cat who was diagnosed with FIV and Feline Leukemia, who lived a full and healthy life for 3 years after the vet attempted to put him down. I currently have a wonderful rescue dog, who was mistreated by his previous owner, but who has become a loving and trusting part of my family through my care and attention. I have been a pet sitter for friends and family, and I interact with most animals in a way that leaves them happy and relaxed, and leaves me with a wish I could afford more pets!
