About Rebecca

I have learned more through the imagination, laughter, and play of the children around me than almost anything else in my 32 years of life. I've had the joy of watching children since I was 13 and been paid regularly for it since 2013. For college, I attended Biola University and got a degree in film. I worked in the film industry until Covid in 2020. Then, I moved to Escondido to work on creative projects. I worked as a nanny in 2022 and then at Hume Lake Christian camps for two years. I'm currently back in Escondido to pursue creative projects, including learning to write children's books (since childlike wonder has been such an inspiration to me). I'm hoping to work part-time, preferably 1-3 full days per week (or mornings/evenings 2-5 times per week so I have time to work on my creative projects). I got CPR and first aid certified in 2022, but have not renewed my certification since (though I would be happy to do so). It would be a delight to meet you and see if we are a good fit!
