Hi! I am a certified K teacher with over 8 years of classroom experience and a passion for helping young learners become confident readers. I specialize in tutoring PreK - 2nd grade who need extra support with foundational reading skills. Each session is engaging, hands-on, and tailored to each child's individual needs. Whether your child is just learning letter names/sounds or beginning to read simple books, I meet them where they are and help them build confidence every step of the way. My instruction focuses on: * Letter identification * Letter sounds * Phonological awareness * Blending & segmenting sounds * CVC words * Early phonics & decoding * Sight words * Beginning spelling & writing * Reading fluency & comprehension as students progress I use research-based practices to provide explicit, systematic phonics instruction while keeping learning fun and encouraging.
