I am currently seeking a home health care position. My availability is M-F 8-3. I finished a three month position with Veteran's Affairs, caring for a disabled man - and his wife. I'm finishing a second job for the VA as of August 1, 2024. I've been taking care of a man with Parkinson's & his wife (she's quite able bodied!) I worked for 3 1/2 months with a wonderful family in December 2023, helping to care for the mother & father - both with some memory issues but lovely people. At Christmas break after months of planning, they were moved together to a facility. I'm now looking for another job! I took care of my disabled mom - including incontinence, bathing, laundry, cooking, even entertaining. I'd like to find a family that needs in home help for a break. I can't lift a person entirely but I can get them out of bed & cleaned & fed. I have now worked for the VA for two families that needed, in the end, 24/7 care.
