About Rebecca

Thank you for taking a look at my profile! I am a 35-year-old woman in Kennebunk Maine. I'm taking on limited part time tutoring hours as I transition from a 10+ year career in the non-profit sector to full time graduate studies in social work. I have high school and middle school teaching experience and experience working one on one with middle, high school and elementary students. I believe in building a relationship with each student and developing techniques that respect each student's unique learning styles and personal strengths. I am kind, compassionate, and believe in the power of critical thinking and creative expression. I would love to help your student with language arts, literature, writing and reading. I'm also experienced with resume editing, college essays, and job application prep as well as some standardized test preparation.
