Thank you for looking at my profile! I am a 37-year-old woman in Gray Maine. I just completed graduate school and am taking on limited childcare and tutoring hours as I take my social work licensing exam and apply for jobs. I hold a M. Ed. in Secondary English Ed including coursework in child development. I've previously nannied for a family of 3 children (3, 7 & 8), including one child with specialized needs. I worked full time as a shared nanny for two families with toddlers and a summer nanny for a 2 yr old. For nine years I was Program Director for a nonprofit where I facilitated arts programs with teen girls, and non binary youth. I enjoy imaginative play and being outdoors. I approach childcare with compassion and a genuine interest in children's wellbeing and sense of wonder. l look forward to meeting a family that will be a great fit for me! Rebecca is amazing. She's punctual, professional, respects boundaries and rules, while ensuring safety She watched our children a few times, made meals, cleaned, took care of our pets, and has a very friendly, helpful, and compassionate demeanor. She's excellent at providing comfort and support as one of our little ones became upset while we were out. At the end of her visit, she provides feedback and an account of what occurred while we were out. I feel completely confident with leaving her in charge of anything.
