About Rebecca

Working with children is something I genuinely enjoy, and I love creating an environment where they feel safe, understood, and supported. I am a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with over a year of direct experience working with children and adolescents ages 5-17, and I am currently continuing my education in Psychology at Miami Dade College. My ABA background has given me experience supporting children with different communication, developmental, and behavioral needs, including verbal, nonverbal, and minimally verbal children who use AAC devices. I am patient, calm, compassionate, and especially skilled at building genuine connections through play and meeting each child where they are. I understand that behavior is often communication and approach challenging moments thoughtfully and calmly. I am RBT, PCM, CPR, and First Aid certified and value open communication, teamwork, consistency, and creating a positive experience for both children and their families.
