About Rebecca

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, curious and patient. I like to introduce kids to our amazing world and help them build skills and self confidence. We create a space of safety and happiness to laugh and learn together. I'm looking for a job that lets me bring joy and peace of mind to a family. I'd like to engage the children in play and learning and keep them safe and nourished. I have been caring for children for over 20 years. After being a stay at home mom, I took parenting classes, volunteered in the classroom, and earned my Certificate in Early Childhood Education (Birth to age 8). I was a preschool teacher for 4 years and an assistant Special Ed teacher for 3 years. I like to read books, walk in nature, and learn languages. You should know that safety is my first priority. CPR &First Aid current. My skills include literacy enrichment, teaching social emotional skills, and engaging with children. I could also arrange to teach reading or languages.
