About Rebecca

I'm a 33-year-old mom of 2, a 13-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl. I was a nanny for one family for 4 years. They were fantastic, a 4-year-old girl and 6-year-old boy. Since then, I was with one other family for one year, taking care of their newborn. Being a nanny for me changed my life, in so many amazing ways. I think what sets me apart is that I'm a big kid myself, in that I'll be the one down on the floor playing hot wheels or coloring with the kids. I love taking them out for fun, especially prior to covid, but since we still get out for walks and get fresh air. Also I learned so much through my former boss, who is an occupational therapist for special needs children. Learning through play, fine and gross motor skill activities, dealing with difficult behaviors and using positive reinforcement are just a few of the things I've learned and I look forward to using these skills wherever I go.
