About Rebecca

Hi! I am a teaching assistant at a Montessori school in East Providence currently working towards my teaching certificate in Montessori. I have a degree in musicology and music composition and have years of experience as a private musical instructor/group coach for ages ranging 5-18. My philosophy is to follow the child - to notice and engage with what your child is interested in and supplement that passion with every resource I can find. I've also worked as a Direct Support Professional at a RI-based nonprofit servicing adults with disabilities. I am immersed in the study of early child development and find complete joy and wonder in my work with children. I can't wait to meet yours!
