About Rebecca

Hello ! My name is Rebecca and I am a recent graduate from Queens College with a studio art/art education major pre-k-12. What made me love children and seniors was working with them in community houses/ nursing homes, after-school programs and babysitting my brother, cousins and neighbors since I was a young teen. Through these experiences, I gained lots of inspiration and motivation. It taught me patience, compassion, empathy, creativity, and love. I also learned ways to formulate different ideas for better communication and tutoring results. I try to have an open mind and understand each child and senior for better learning experience and for a more enjoyable time together! I try different methods when it comes to tutoring or behavior with kids whether its visual learning or verbal learning. I like to incorporate a little art in the learning process for visual learners and for a little fun! I really enjoy cooking and arts and crafts
