I have enjoyed being around kids my whole life. Growing up, I loved being a mother's helper during elementary school. Once I entered middle school I volunteered at my church on Wednesday nights with K4. I also volunteered for several years in the preschool department during VBS. After thru-hiking the entire Appalachian Trail and graduating from high school, I worked as a Preschool Teacher in the 1s and 2s room, creating activities and lessons. This past summer I nannied grade school children and enjoyed preparing weekly themed activities for them to experience.
