About Rebeccah

I've been working in childcare for over 12 years and love being able to watch the kids grow! Children are so curious and impressionable and to be able to watch them learn and discover things and be a part of that process is fulfilling for me. I treat children with respect while also being an authority figure. As a communications major I've learned that children often react to things because they have a need that is not being met. They don't always know how to express themselves and I like to help them grow in this ability. I graduated with my Bachelors in Communication studies from Point Loma Nazarene University. I was a psychology major for the first year and a half of undergrad and have taken multiple child development courses. I believe this knowledge of both communication studies and psychology helps me empathize and understand children better. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
