About Rebecca

I have worked as a Direct Support Professional and continue to do so in a home with four adult women with developmental disabilities, including autism (with dementia), epilepsy, and cerebral palsy. I prepare meals, clean the house, feed and bathe clients, use a hoyer lift and other lifts to reposition and move wheelchair users, and create and run activities appropriate to various levels of cognitive abilities. I have spent significant non-work related time with neurotypical seniors through church volunteering and grandparents.
