About Rebecca

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, friendly and a good listener. I'd like to care for seniors because I've always felt a connection to the elder population. I believe seniors deserve respect, care and love and I want to help give that to them. I'm available a few of days a week during school hours. I help my husband with his business, have many pets to care for and catch up on house work while kids are at school. My Dad fell ill in 5/23. He had a fast paced neuro degenerative disease, I jumped in to help both my Mom and Dad. He passed in 12/23. I'm still helping Mom, she's had a few falls but remains independent. I like to, hike, swim, read and play with our animals. I care a lot! I don't have any paid experience yet. I have a bachelors degree in sociology and love people. When I was navigating care for Dad multiple people at the facility told me I should get into elder care. I feel now that my kids are older, I am at a place in life I can help the elder community.
