About Rebecca

Hi! I go by Lan, my middle name, and I'm looking for a full time nanny position. I'd describe myself as creative, intentional, and empathetic. One of my #1 hobbies is cooking, so I would definitely love to help cook nutritious meals for a family. I've worked with kids & done childcare since I was in my early teens. My most long-term relationship with a family has been with two twin girls. I've been providing childcare for them on and off since 2017. Post-grad, I've worked with ages 6-18 at the Boys and Girls Club and ages 3-5 at American Union Elementary School. Being a preschool tutor this past year was something I poured my everything into. I loved helping the young students grow every single day. By the end of my service, I was able to see how much my tutoring had helped them. That's what I'm looking for in working with a family. It can be hard to say goodbye to kids every summer after investing so much, so I would love the chance to build a long-term relationship with a family.
