I am currently seeking a long-term nanny position beginning this fall, ideally Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM-3:00/3:30 p.m. I have over 14 years of childcare experience in both preschool and private home settings, caring for children from newborns to age 12. I am currently a preschool teacher, where I create and implement curriculum, assist with diapering and toilet training, serve meals and snacks, and maintain strong communication with families. I am also a mother of two young children, which has further strengthened my patience and understanding of child development. My nanny experience includes infant care, school transportation, planning activities and crafts, maintaining routines, meal preparation, and light child-related housekeeping. I am CPR/First Aid certified and EEC Teacher Certified. Families describe me as nurturing, dependable, organized, and energetic. I am passionate about providing a safe, engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

I'll preface this by saying, not every nanny is the right fit for every family. We were not super happy with how things ended. The week Rebecca was supposed to start with us, we got sick. We thought it would be only fair to not have her come to our house and we still payed her for the time she would have worked. She started with us the following week, stayed for a couple of weeks and quit via text without giving us any notice, even though we signed an agreement saying we would give each other 2 weeks of notice if we were to want something different. Our kids liked Rebecca, they liked going outside to play with her and she seemed to do a good job interacting with them, being a mother herself. We wish that more consideration would have been given when she decided this wasn't for her. If she finds the right situation it could end up being a long term match for someone else.
