About Rebecca

My greatest passion in life in teaching and helping all children find the strength in their struggle. I was born and raised in New York and New York, and experienced great success at school and at university due to amazing and unforgettable mentors and teachers. This is the foundation go my commitment to helping out my students, whatever their abilities may be. I received my masters degree in Elementary/ Special Education grades 1-6 in May of 2007 from Long Island University. Prior to obtaining my degree, I began a job at a private school in Queens, New York teaching special education, where I have been for the past 13 years. I love nothing more than helping children reach their full potential, and with my engaging teaching style, I am positive all children that I work with will get there!
