Throughout my time at university, I worked as a nanny for families throughout the DFW area in Texas. This involved caring for children between the ages of 18 months and 15 years old. I also branched into pet sitting when time permitted. During this time I found a love for working with children and realized it was what I was meant to do, so I changed my studies from pre-med to applied behavior analysis specializing in early intervention autism care. This allowed me to continue to care for children while also helping those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. It is what I am currently studying at the graduate level and hope to do long term.
