About Raya

Hi! My name is Raya and I am currently a senior at CU Boulder. Prior to my collegiate studies, I worked at Renaissance Montessori Academy as a teaching assistant from children aged 2-10. For math: I am Montessori certified and have qualifications to teach up to 4th grade math. I have been tutoring Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 students for 2 years as well. For Spanish: I am fluent in Spanish and am currently minoring in the subject at CU. I have tutored with the books Enfoques and Realidades. For English: I have worked with students up to grade 11 on English for 2 years now. In high school, I got a 5 on the AP Language and Composition test. For Dance and Fitness: I have been playing soccer for over 12 years now and was formerly on the Colorado Rapids South Burgundy team. I have been dancing for 15 years and have experience in Bollywood, Hip Hop, Kathak, and lyrical forms of dance. I look forward to working with your child and helping to cultivate their learning!
