Hi, I'm Raquel! I'm originally from Brazil but have lived in Massachusetts with my family for nearly 20 years. During this time, I've had the privilege of working with many families and helping to raise their little ones, most often from birth right up until school enrollment. As a former educator, I have lots of experience in early childhood education, and I enjoy reading to infants and children, playing with them, exploring the outdoors, taking them to interesting places, and making them feel happy. I love taking care of kids and watching them learn and grow, but parting ways with little ones when they enroll at school is an unavoidable part of the job. This means that every three to five years I look for employment and switch families. I would love to work for your family next!

Raquel has been our full-time nanny caring for our two young girls for the last five years. She started with our family when my oldest was six months old. We unfortunately moved out of the area and have to part ways, but it wasn't for lack of trying to keep her on and bring her with us! Raquel is wonderfully in the moment with our girls, flexible, attentive, and warm - she is an angel! Our needs have changed over the years from requiring someone to help with infant feeding and sleep schedules, to navigating two toddlers and coordinating schedules and activities - she has adapted and helped us parent through all of these milestones. She is knowledgeable of all phases of child development, but is respectful of what works best for our family. Our girls see Raquel as another parent - they love her dearly and she has become part of our family. Any family looking for a reliable, warm and genuinely kind nanny would be lucky to have Raquel. We give her our highest recommendation!
