About Raquel

I'd describe my personality as self driven, creative and compassionate. I like working with animals because working with animals can be therapeutic and gratifying. It allows you to care for and improve their lives, even helping them find homes and help give and find them the love and care they all deserve! I started working with animals when I was just a kid. I grew up around many animals, fostered many kittens and even worked with some neighborhood strays, earning their trust to where I could pet and touch them when previously they would run at the sound of footsteps. I have owned just almost any kind of pet you could think of. Cats, dogs, birds, fish, rodents, reptiles, birds, you name it! :) In my spare time, I like to spend time with family, or pick up on new hobbies. I also have been volunteering at my local animal shelter for about a year.
