Raquel is extraordinary, both personally and professionally. If you have a chance to hire her, DO NOT HESITATE! Raquel worked as a caregiver/companion/angel for my very difficult 96yo mother from April 2024 through her death in June 2024. From the first day, Raquel’s strengths were evident: she quickly won my mother’s trust and confidence; she endured her dementia-related misbehavior with patience, equanimity and compassion; she was closely attentive and diligent in her care; and she stimulated mom’s long dormant interest in the world around her. Her upbeat, cheerful personality brought sunshine and light into my mother’s life during a difficult time, and dramatically improved her mood and outlook. Most of all, Raquel demonstrated outstanding judgment on numerous occasions, taking proactive steps to keep my mother safe and well. We were SOOOO fortunate to have Raquel’s support, and would have done anything necessary to keep her, had my mother lived longer. I recommend her without reservation, knowing that she will be a blessing to your family as she was to mine.
