About Rana

Three words to sum up me up would be: considerate, creative, and consistent. I am reliable & believe in keeping my word. My first experience working with children was as a 16-year-old, babysitting for a single parent. He would go to his son's hockey games at 5 a.m. on weekends, so I would be there at 4:30 a.m. to make sure his daughter had someone there. She loved alligator wrestling and would tell me about her dreams to work in animal conservation. I got books from the library about conservation and read them with her in the mornings. This sparked my love of childcare and nurturing young minds. Logistically, I am CPR certified for BLS, I have completed an EMT course & I excel in emergency care. I have experience in substitute teaching, an undergraduate degree with coursework in Education, and have been in childcare for many years. My hobbies include: cooking, reading, and going for walks.
