About Raina

Hello! My name is Raina and I have worked with children for years. My first experience caring for children was for my younger nieces and nephews when they were newborns through adolescence. I also coached gymnastics for three years at a gymnastics studio and karate studio. I worked with kids from ages 1 to 15 during this time. While coaching I had the privilege of teaching kids with disabilities either physically or mentally. I graduated high school with my AA and I am currently at Auburn studying Early Childhood Development and Family Science. I volunteer at the Auburn Early Childhood Center on Auburn's campus and I have tutored kids in elementary school in my neighborhood. Some of my values include family and empathy. I believe in gentle and montessori teaching, so kids can experience the world at their pace free of judgement or pressure. I also know being a working parent can be difficult, so I also offer housework during my time. I look forward to meeting you and your family.
