About Rafaella

Our family had the pleasure of welcoming Rafa into our home in June 2023 as the nanny for our three young children, then aged 1, 2, and 4. Rafa seamlessly integrated into our family’s rhythm from day one. Her responsibilities encompassed all aspects of childcare and household management related to the children, including laundry, tidying play areas, grocery shopping, and meal preparation. She consistently began her day with us at 7 am, expertly managing school drop-offs before dedicating her time to household tasks. In the afternoons, she would manage daycare pick-ups, prepare dinner, and engage the children in enriching playtime. Rafa is truly a gem, and we have consistently found it challenging to find childcare that measures up to her exceptional standards. Our appreciation for her was so high that friends engaged her for full-time care of their three children for over a year, until their youngest transitioned to daycare. Even now, as our family has grown to four (children aged newborn, 4, 5, and 7), Rafa continues to be an invaluable part of our children’s lives. She provides crucial supplemental support, expertly managing the needs of all four children, alongside continued household management duties. Rafa’s approach with children is characterized by immense patience and genuine love. She is wonderfully playful, readily engaging on their level and immersing herself in their activities. Rafa is also adventurous and confident, happily taking children on outings to the park, library, movies, and even amusement parks. She is also fully comfortable with overnight care for multiple children. Her unwavering confidence in her childcare abilities is one of the many qualities we admire most about her.
