Hello! My name is Rachel and I am interested in babysitting for your family. I have lots of experience with children of all ages including babies, toddlers, young children, teens, and special needs children and I now have my own little one born in April 2023. I started babysitting in high school and have never stopped. After graduating college, I worked as a part time nanny for three families; helping with homework, dinner, and managing an after school schedule. I received my bachelors degree in Geology (Earth Science) and currently work as a scientist. I am a passionate and lifelong learner with experience working with children in classrooms at public schools and special needs schools. I have my own transportation and a very safe driving record. I am available for weekend and evening weeknight care as I do work full-time, but this works perfectly for occasional outings and date nights.

Rachel was very responsive and super helpful! She stayed with our two teens for three evenings/overnight while we were out of town on a work trip. She came and met everyone prior to our trip (including the dog) and went over house details and the schedules. She helped with dinners, clean up, making sure the kids got out the door on time in the mornings (not easy with teens). She stayed in touch via text while we were away. We don't hire sitters often, but she asked all the right questions and made everyone feel completely comfortable! Our daughter (14) said Rachel very nice and helped her with everything! Our daughter said she didn't realize how much she needed Rachel's help while we were gone and was thankful she was there. Kids were happy and house was neat and in order when we got home! It gave us peace of mind that there was a responsible adult in the house that the kids could rely on while we were away. We would have Rachel back anytime!
