About Rachel

Nice to meet you, my name is Rachel! I am an experienced caregiver working on my masters at Thomas Jefferson University for Midwifery and Women's Health. Last summer, I moved to State College and am looking for part time work while in school. As an older sister to two brothers, I grew up responsible for and taking care of children all ages. I worked as a regular nanny for upwards of 30 families, held a position as a lifeguard and swim instructor for three years (ages 6 months to 16 yrs), and then preschool teaching assistant for two years (ages 3-5). I have experience with tutoring grade school, high school, and undergrad students. I also am an animal owner, home organizer, and a competent cook. I have a current Registered Nurse license and am certified in Advanced Life Support. I truly enjoy working with children of all ages and want to make sure you and everyone in your family feel comfortable and safe when they wave goodbye. Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions!
