About Rachel

I'm a registered nurse and mother of 2 little girls. I'm entering the phase of life where I'd love to introduce them to new experiences with new friends. I was a nanny for a family for 6 years before becoming a nurse. Then I worked in trauma and surgical centers and gained a great amount of critical care skills. If you have a medically complicated child or otherwise need a nanny skilled with critical care, I'm your gal. I will happily consider positions offered that will allow our children to play together and practice their social skills. I value teaching our children creativity, courage, generosity, friendship, and courtesy. I am patient and kind through tantrums, and I utilize distraction as a powerful tool to help young toddlers cope with difficult things.
