About Rachel

I'm a fun-loving and energetic 25-year-old who started in school studying psychology, but fell into caregiving and nannying 4 years ago. My favorite age to work with is toddlers, but I have experience with infants and school age children as well. I'm seeking a full-time position, with a family that can provide a 2+ year commitment; I have worked previously with two multi child families, as well as in a group home with those with developmental disabilities. I'm currently employed as a Personal Care Assistant for an adult with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. My focus is providing your children a safe, compassionate, routine-centered, and imaginative space that fosters growth and reaching developmental milestones. I enjoy trips to local parks, crafting, pretend play, facilitating independent time, baking, and special seasonal outings when appropriate. I'm firm yet caring, and will work with you through any challenges that may arise.
