Hi! I'm Rachel, a 22-year-old Cal Poly student in my last quarter of my teaching credential program! I have experience with kids of all ages as I have been working in youth programs since I was about 15 years old. I've been a camp counselor a few different summers, a summer school instructor two different years, a swim coach and I now am student teaching in fifth grade! I also was a first grade student teacher last year. In my teaching credential program, I have created lesson plans and implemented them in my classes on the topics of science, math, ELA, English Language Development, and history. I have also specialized in creating lessons in my summer school programs, specifically targeting ELA instruction and science projects.
