Hi! I am a student at SCSU in the Elementary/Special Ed collaborative program. I am available for recurring help, date nights, etc. I previously worked as a full-time head teacher. I taught in a toddler classroom at a daycare center. I worked as a sub/floater in infant, toddler and pre-k classrooms. I stayed at the same center from March of 2018 to August of 2022. During the 21-22 and the 22-23 school year I worked at a child development center implementing a preschool literacy program through SCSU. I have sitting experience (ages 3 mos to 10 yrs). I am responsible, detail-oriented and attentive. I am also creative, energetic and fun! Child safety is my number one priority. My CPR/First Aid Cert expired in Dec but I will renew it ASAP. I am happy to provide multiple references upon request!

Rachel is a phenomenal babysitter who has cared for my toddler for 10 months. She engages my child with park visits, indoor play, feeding, and arts and crafts. My toddler adores her. Rachel's instincts with kids are spot-on, she makes safe choices, and her calm demeanor puts me at ease. Trustworthy, thoughtful, and caring, Rachel is a true gem in childcare. Highly recommend her!
