About Rachel

I'm a NYS-certified general and special education teacher with more than 10 years of experience working with children in preschool through middle school. I currently work in special education and have extensive experience supporting students with reading, writing, math, executive functioning, organization, confidence, and overall academic growth. I hold a Master's degree in Education as well as an MBA, and I bring a patient, structured, and individualized approach to every student I work with. I'm especially skilled at meeting children where they are, identifying what may be getting in the way of progress, and creating practical strategies that help them feel more successful and independent. I also work closely with families and can support school readiness, homework routines, learning strategies, executive functioning, and IEP-related needs. My goal is always to make learning feel manageable, positive, and tailored to the individual child.
