About Rachel

I've always been drawn to caring for children and helping them grow. My passion for early childhood development and education led me to become an elementary school teacher for 11 years. With my bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and a graduate degree in Instructional Technology focused on Library Sciences, I've gained valuable knowledge and experience. I'm patient, calm, and creative, and I love making learning fun. Communication with parents is essential, so I provide regular updates and follow their preferred method. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a safe and structured environment. From outdoor sports to board games and educational activities, I enjoy a variety of games that encourage children's physical, mental, and social development. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children of all ages, and I'm open to helping with cooking, meal prep, carpooling, and light housekeeping.
