About Rachel

I've been working with children since I graduated high school in 2010. Since then, I've worked in a variety of childcare settings. I have worked in daycares, as a nanny, as a nanny and homeschool teacher (elementary age), and in elementary schools as an autism support aide. I have a son who was born in the late spring of 2020 who would be with me most of the time and has always been with other children since he was 2 months old when I watched other children in my home. Currently, I'm coming up on 2 years of being a teacher for 2. 5-3. 5-year-olds at a daycare center. I'd be more than happy to homeschool for a family with my son included. I can vary my days and hours through 7 days a week, with advance notice, but would like 32-40 hours guaranteed each week. In my spare time, I enjoy going camping and to Canes games with my son and husband.

Rachel provided care for our 3 year old and she is wonderful. She is down to earth, dependable, transparent, and provides the best care possible. What I appreciated most was that Rachel treated our child like her own and I never had any concerns when she was part of our child’s daily life. I would recommend her care time and time again.
