About Rachel

I have always wanted to work with children and make a meaningful difference in their lives, which is why I've ultimately chosen a career in social work. I have a masters degree in psychology and I'm in the process of completing my MSW. I currently work at a mental health clinic where I conduct therapy sessions with both children and adults. I started working with kids when I first graduated college in 2017, specifically working with children aged 6-13. I was responsible for taking care of them after school, helping them with their homework, and establishing a consistent nighttime routine. I am very patient and compassionate person as well as adept at keeping kids regulated and on task. In my spare time, I like to go hiking, play kickball, bake, and paint pottery. I'm looking for a job that gives me the opportunity to care for children and provide support to families while still having some fun!
