My grandpa lived around the corner from us and as he got older he refused to go to a nursing home so when I was 16 we took turns spending the night with him and helping him to the bathroom and making food for him and other daily living tasks. I went to vanguard for medical careers and graduated with my STNA and medical assisting. I moved to Marion and worked in an assisted living home and loved it. When I moved home I worked at the opportunity center in Tiffin with the adults with disabilities where I did a lot of rest rooming, feeding, cleaning, and emptied a colostomy bag. This past year I worked as a one on one special education aide at krout. I have a lot of experience taking care of people, being friendly, and being patient with different types of people and their needs.
